Obituary of Phyllis A. White

WARRENSBURG:  Phyllis A. White, 64, of Warrensburg, NY passed away on July 31, 2025 at Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness.

Phyllis was born on August 2, 1960 in Glens Falls, NY to the late Harold and Sina (Bolster) White.  She graduated from Queensbury High School in 1978.  Phyllis moved to Warrensburg in 1989 and began working at Warrensburg Laundry and Final Rinse Laundromat for 30 years.

Phyllis enjoyed painting, playing rummy with her two favorite aunts, Dorothy and Ada, playing baseball and basketball with her brothers and cousins, and riding her bicycle. 

Besides her parents Harold and Sina White, Phyllis is predeceased by her beloved aunts Dorothy and Ada White.

Left to cherish Phyllis’s memory are her brothers David White and Fred White; niece Jessica White; nephew Matthew White and very good friend Myrtle Varnum whom she worked with at the laundromat.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 11am – 1pm at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY.
