Obituary of Janice L. Greaney

WARRENSBURG:  Our dear mother Janice Greaney (Smith) of Warrensburg, NY passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 75.

Janice was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lillian (Rex) Stack.

Janice was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most. She dedicated her life to her family, always offering a listening ear and a warm embrace. She was known for her friendly and outgoing nature. She enjoyed dancing to her favorite '50s and '60s music, as well as singing karaoke with her friends. She took pride in her Irish heritage and cherished her many dolphin collectibles. She was a breast cancer survivor, always advocating for awareness and participating in breast cancer walks.

Besides her parents, Janice is predeceased by her sister Helen Stack.

Janice is survived by her husband Brian Smith; siblings Lillian Stack and Kenny (Donna) Stack; loving children Chris (Marie) Scaglione, Tara (John) Baer and Joey (Lavina) Scaglione; and grandchildren Jonathan, Kyle, Ashley, Sarah, Harmony, Journey, Brooklyn, JoJo and JoLavi.

Janice will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
