Minerva:

Lawrence W. Pratt, 72, of Ridge Road, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, February 28, 2025 following a long illness.

Born April 20, 1952 in Tahawus, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Verma (LaPrarie) Pratt.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Anson Pratt.

Following his graduation from Minerva Central School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  After returning to Minerva he involved himself in the community through volunteer work and worked at a multitude of jobs. He was always proud to call Minerva his home.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Diane; he also leaves behind his six siblings, two sons William and Larry, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. 

Per Larry’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Minerva Community Center.
