Obituary of Joyce Ann Tuttle

NORTH CREEK:  Joyce A. Tuttle, 77, of North Creek, NY passed away on February 17, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness.

Joyce was born on January 3, 1948, at Mt. Kisco Hospital to the late Matthew and Frances (Kazorck) Camilli. She grew up in Pleasantville, NY, and graduated from Pleasantville High School. While in high school, Joyce met Edward Tuttle, and they were married on August 6, 1967, celebrating 58 wonderful years together. Joyce worked briefly for NY Telephone Company before becoming a devoted homemaker, a role she took great pride in. In 2004, Joyce and Ed moved to North Creek to begin the next chapter of their lives.

Joyce was a kind and compassionate person with a deep love for animals and a strong commitment to volunteering. While living in Pleasantville, she volunteered at Rosary Hill Cancer Home and with the Pleasantville Ambulance Corps. After moving to North Creek, Joyce continued to give back to her community by volunteering with the Johnsburg Ambulance Corps, North Warren Ambulance Corps, the North Creek Volunteer Fire Department support team, and the North Creek Railroad Depot Preservation Association.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Peter Camilli.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Edward Tuttle; children Edward Tuttle, Matthew (Victoria) Tuttle, and Rebecca Tuttle; grandchildren Heather, Ryan, Alexia, and Aalliyah; and great-grandchildren Byron and Blakley.

Friends are invited to call on Joyce’s family from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM.
