My sincerest condolences to Fran and the family. Lew was a long time family friend. I would see Lew often where he worked or out socializing.. My dad and Lew were good friends for years..I always had a laugh with him and maybe a drink or two..Rest In Paradise Lew ..you are remembered by many..
Very saddened to hear of Lew’s passing. My grandfather Ray Gonyo was sign foreman at DOT and Lew was his apprentice. When Ray retired Lew took over as foreman. I later worked for Lew at the Warrensburg cemetery for a summer when I was a teenager. We had a lot of fun. He was a good man. Fair, funny, and one heck of a character! He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lewis's family.. What a great man he was.. Always friendly and helpful.. He will certainly be missed.. R.I.P. my friend..
Frannie, Bobby, Jay..I am so sorry to hear that Lew passed away! I’ve got to say that he is a one of my favorite people. All that fun we had! And, I believe, I was at his favorite watering hole.
