My sincerest condolences. I have many fond memories. I was lucky enough to walk the beautiful land, ride his horses and pick blueberries. I was treated like family. An amazing person. My heart goes out to all his family and dear friends. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

I’d like to offer our sincere condolences on behalf of the Crislip family. He was immeasurably kind to my brother Steve when he was in school.

Surely will miss my cousin. He was like a big brother while I was growing up. We had fun ...laughter....riding horses in Pack Forest....and him teaching me how to ride and handle horses.
So many pleasant memories from those days.
Even the times he would saddle up old Glory and take me ski joring through the fields on cold winter days.. Thanks Junior for being the brother I always wanted. I know you are being blessed in your heavenly home. Loved all our good times and loved you.

I have so many fond memories of Uncle Walt, Aunt Elsie, and my cousins, Craig and Scott. Uncle Walt knew how to spin a yarn better than anyone. I could sit and listen to his stories of life in the forest, his singing horse, tales of mountain lions, for hours. He always had a way of making his family feel special, and I will cherish our walks in the woods, eating ice cream, picking blue berries, and reminiscing. He, and his family, have a very special place in my heart. He will be missed by many, but with God’s grace, we will meet again. Please know, the entire family remains close to our hearts and in prayer.
God Bless,
Candy and Gary

My dad Walter and his good friend Hodie Ovitt playing and singing gospel music together at the The First Presbyterian Church of Warrensburg. He loved to sing and play his guitar. The picture of Christ praying at Gethsemane on the wall behind Hodie is a crewel embroidery that my mother Elsie made and donated to the church. My dad and I both always loved to see it hanging there.

My dad Walter with his two good friends Chris Bogia (left) and Paul Fucito (right) after a day of horseback riding at Circle B Ranch. He continued his love of horses and horseback riding well into his eighties. He loved the time spent with these two and others whose names I can't recall at Chris's ranch. My dad shared many fond memories of the times they all had. The sweater he was wearing in this photo was hand knit by his mother Laura Wright and he always treasured it.
