My condolences to the family of the wonderful lady Olga Lapell. Olga and Jimmy were friends of mine for many years. We grew up together in the north country. Though we did not see each other often, great memories kept us close at heart. Olga will be missed and will always be in my thoughts.

Cindy, and all the rest of Olga's family. We are truly sorry for Olgas passing. She always had a smile. Wanted to help whomever needed it. Such a GREAT friend to so many. Especially to my Mom Normalea. They had a special Bond which was passed on to me. I always enjoyed talking to Olga, so knowledgeable on so many things. TO THE LAPELL FAMILY & ALL EXTENDED FAMILY:
We have learned of Olga's passing which we knew was imminent, and would like to share our heart felt prayers and thoughts to y'all. Her obituary is so touching& fitting and shares the story of her life for all readers to see and feel first-hand.She and my mother Tudy, became close friends in their later years as widows, and it is very, very true as the obituary states, that my mother did indeed find joy in Olga's presence! I recall a fond memory when Donna brought Olga to visit my mom when she was living with me in South Glens Falls and the four of us shared a wonderful visit together! May each of you feel God's presence in the days ahead as you grieve her loss and may her daughters be comforted and at peace knowing their care of her was not in vain!

As the Irish often say ,...."To know her was to love her....
Olga LaPell was a second Mother to many teens as we all grew up in North Creek.. And when we moved away, she greeted us all with a smile and a hug whenever we visited her ( holding our little ones on our hips) during our visits home.....The La Pell family home was always a warm shelter when many of us dealt with parental loss and teen age heartbreak....
Olga is now having a great time catching up with all our North Creek parents in heaven....She often told me how much she especially missed John Ordway telling his fun stories to the White Water Weekend crowd at Basil and Wicks every year... #blessed❤
