Warrensburg: John E. Olden 87, of River Street, Warrensburg passed away peacefully, Tuesday May 18, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born July 31, 1933 in Minerva, he was the son of the late Fletcher and Josephine (Morse) Olden. Jack’s greatest joys in life were spending time with his family, who will miss him deeply. Some of his favorite pastimes included restoring cars with his family, Sunday family dinners, driving his skidders, fishing with his family and friends, driving around the countryside, attending his grandchildren’s baseball and football games, watching endless hours of Westerns on TV, and sharing stories with all his pals, during his daily numerous visits to Bills Diner. Besides his parents, Jack was predeceased by loving wife of 58 years Wanda (Pasco) Olden, his son-in- law John G. Rock II, sister Mildred Pasco, brothers Robert Olden, William Olden and Donald Olden. Left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter Lorraine Ward and her husband Frank, his two sons John E. Olden II and his wife Pamela and Kenneth Olden and his Fiancée Robin Thompson; eight grandchildren: Darcy Baker and her husband Gary, John Olden III and his companion Anne Denard, KJ Olden, Kasey Olden and his wife Carrie, John Rock III, Nicholas Olden and his Fiancée Shelby Bruno, Christopher Olden and his companion Kate Richards, Logan Rock and his Fiancée Jennifer Winter; eleven great-grandchildren; MacKenzie Ferrone and her husband Chris, Michael and MacLane Baker, Zachary and Seth Olden, Hunter and Bailey Rock, Brody and Taylor Olden, Marlee and Tucker Olden; one great-great granddaughter Sadeigh Fish, his sister Rose Migneault and her husband Roy, his brother Doug Olden and his wife Donna; several nieces and nephews along with special pal Heather Annis. Per Jack’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral. At the convenience of the family, a celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, or any dog rescue organization of your choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to his devoted GAHA aides, Tammy R., Tabatha B. and Tammy D. and his exceptional Landmark care giver, Diane T.
