Born March 1, 1931 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Byrd-Baker) Bandes.
Jackie worked for many years as a chambermaid at Sit-N-Bull Ranch, Warren Inn Hotel, and the Sagamore Resort.

Besides her parents, Jackie was predeceased by her step-father, Victor Baker; her in-laws, Lloyd and Grace Dingman; a son-in-law, Simeon R. Hall; and a granddaughter, Saphrina Dingman.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Charles Dingman, Sr. of Athol; eight children, Charles Dingman, Jr. and his companion, Donna Knickerbocker of Athol; Linda Hall of Warrensburg; Gail Carpenter of Athol; John Dingman and his wife, Suzie of Athol; Debbie Lebrun and her husband, Paul of Glens Falls; Bruce Dingman and his wife, Karen of Athol; Myra Vopleus and her husband, Donald of Athol; Ryan Dingman of Stony Creek; a brother, Glen Baker and his wife, Anna of Warrensburg. She also leaves behind eight
granddaughters, 13 grandsons, several great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Jackie’s family from 2-4 pm Sunday at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow the visitation at 4 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Ronald Burdett, Pastor of the Warrensburg First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be conducted in Reynolds Cemetery, Thurman, in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in her name to the Thurman EMS, 572 High St Athol, NY 12810.
Jackie’s family would like to thank all of the exemplary home caregivers, the staff at Glens Falls Hospital, and Dr. Daniel Way for the compassionate care that was provided to her.
