To those left behind --I had not seen Alan in several years since he left Price Chopper but I do remember a kind shy caring person from grade school thru high school and as an adult at work. I know you will miss him but he will not be forgotten for the person as he lived his life with dignity.
Alan,may you rest in peace in Heaven.I know you were a hard working man and I alway's admired that quality in you. I also enjoyed our little chats in Rite Aid when you came in as a customer.You were alway's talking very lovingly about your children.

My condolences to JoAnn and all of the rest of the family. I know he will be sorely missed, but he is rid of that pain wracked body and spending Easter with Jesus.

Alan was one of the kindest men I have ever met. He often asked me to pray about something that was on his heart. When my world got too busy, his quiet way had a way of slowing me down and thinking about what really matters most in life. Kent and I have good memories sharing impromptu lunches with Alan between mowing jobs. A sandwich, cold glass of something and friendly chatter. That's how we'll remember Alan. I am so glad that the summer of 2010 we had a Peacock Family get together. It had been a long time since I had seen my cousin Alan. You are now at peace and in no more pain. You are with your Mom, and probably fishing with Grampa Peacock. I love you. Godspeed
