Obituary of Betty M. Frasier

North Creek: Betty M. Frasier, 73, of Igerna Rd., passed away, Thursday, May 27, 2010 at her home following a long illness surrounded by her loving family. Born May 20, 1937 in Bolton Landing, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lila (Bennett) Norton. Betty was a lifelong resident of the area and married Henry E. Frasier on September 13, 1958. Betty enjoyed being a mother and raising her children. She was also fond of babysitting for many neighborhood children along with watching over her grandchildren. She was a 4H Leader and her family considered her a great mom and grandmother. You never knew what her next prank would be. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and baking. Everyone loved her no-bake cookies, especially all the children throughout her life. Other pastimes included solving crossword puzzles and playing scratch off lottery tickets. Betty was known for her caring ways, everyone knew where they could go for great advice, no matter the situation at hand. She was nicknamed Betty Boop by her late uncle, William Bennett whom she admired. Besides her parents, her siblings, Kae, Pete, Minnie, Rob and Ai have also predeceased her. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Henry, her children, Curtis Norton and his wife, Lila, Cindy Gadway and her husband, Aaron, Henry Frasier and his wife, Carolyn, Sharon Holland and her companion, Charles Evans, Tammy Frasier and her companion, Kevin Fish, Randy Frasier and his wife, Sue; her grandchildren, Amanda, Abraham, Mathew, Christopher and Stephen Gadway, Mathew, Jennifer and Justin Frasier, Daniel and Ashley Holland, Nicole Fish, Amber and Bryan Frasier and great granddaughter, Amerie Frasier; her sister, Estella Redington and her brother, Edwin Norton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call on Betty’s family from 5-8 pm Tuesday, June 1st at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A service to celebrate her life will follow the visitation at 8 pm Tuesday with the Rev. Robert Herrmann, Pastor of the Thurman Baptist Church officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the North Warren EMS.
