Obituary of Joyce M. Killon

Joyce Marie Arnold Killon, 70, of Town Shed Rd., went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at her home.
Born February 18, 1942 in Ticonderoga, she was the daughter of the late Conroy Irving and Elma Inez (West) Arnold.
Joyce enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing, boating, mountain climbing, sewing, baking, cooking, and attending church.
She and her husband, Kerry, spent time living in fire tower cabins on several mountain tops, including Vanderwalker Mountain. They called this cabin their “honeymoon cottage.”
Other than her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Randy Lee Arnold.
Survivors include her childhood sweetheart and beloved husband of 49 years, Kerry Michael Killon; one daughter, Kim Marie Killon Monthony and her husband, Christopher; one grandson, Anthony Jeffrey Monthony, better known as “A.J.”, all of Minerva; her brothers, Vernon (Michele) Arnold of Holly Hill, FL; Charles (Rita) Arnold of Olmstedville; Edward (Gerri) Arnold of Glens Falls. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Joyce’s request, there will be no calling hours scheduled.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Minerva Fire House.
