To the Lane Family;
Verna was a very special lady in every sense of the word. She always had a smiling face for everyone and always helped anyone who was in need. I shared many experiences with her while working with her at WCS and am forever grateful for have had her in my live. We also share a common bond with our roots in Athol. My husband Ed was very fond of Gene, espically days of hunting and fishing. Linda and I graduated together and I have much respect for her entire family. Verna will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

George and Verna Lane were one of the first couples to welcome my family and I to Warrensburg back in 1985. I'll never forget the two of them showing up with a couple of bottles of honey and enjoying the time spent watching my then young sons cover themselves in the delicious nectar. Nothing but fond memories of two very good people. They are now reunited.
