Anthony J. Infantino, 94, of Queensbury, peacefully passed into eternal rest on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, following a long illness.
Born June 3, 1917, in New York City, he was the son of the late Benjamin P. Infantino and the late Anna (Conti) Infantino.
He graduated from Fordham University in 1940. For over fifty years, he had been married to the former Florence J. Stasoff. Anthony was employed as a pharmaceutical representative and a teacher. He was a member of the Elks, and enjoyed big band music, golf, the Yankees, and the Green Bay Packers.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Mildred Clark.
He is survived by his children, Michael B. Infantino and his wife, Jane, of Lake George; and Suzanne J. Infantino of Queensbury; his brother, Joseph Infantino and his wife Angela, of Queens, New York; his grandchildren, Benjamin J. Infantino, M.D. and his wife, Sarah D. Infantino, of Omaha, Nebraska; and, Arthur A. Infantino of Albany; two nieces, and other relatives and friends.
At Anthony’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 20th, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 62 Warren Street, Glens Falls.
