Gladys Isabell (Walker) Cady, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2012 at The Stanton Nursing Home after a long battle with cancer.
Born November 6, 1935, in Thurman, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walker.
Gladys was an avid crafter and antique dealer for most of her life. She was employed by the W.T. Grant Company in Glens Falls, and was also a seamstress.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her common law husband, Henry Cady; children, Darlene Haynes and Gregory Armstrong, Sr.; her step-daughters, Glenda and Lynda Greiner; as well as several brothers and sisters.
She leaves behind a daughter, Reasa Lackie of Granville; a son, Bruce Terrell and his wife, Marilyn of Warrensburg; daughter-in-laws, Denise Poulin and Josephine Armstrong; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
At Gladys’ request there are no calling hours scheduled.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be conducted, at 1 pm, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Warrensburg Cemetery, Hudson Street, Warrensburg.
