Dear Freddie, Linda, Janice and Families, I'm sure Linda knows the depth of my love for Rita! In many ways, Fred and her transporting me (with Linda and Iva) back to Albany many many weekends kept me in college til graduation! She was always a loving, Christlike friend. She will be greatly missed. Every time I visited my Mom last summer I would see her and visit with her. She always looked and acted like a gracious, benevolent queen. I was privileged to be one of her subjects. I could also wax eloquent about her lovely daughters Linda and Janice who were my good friends. John joins me in sending our love and prayers to all of you, Love, Wanda

I will miss Lareta's great charm and dignity- she and Fred made the handsomest, classiest couple I ever met. I'm glad they are now reunited.

To the Stewart families:
We did not know your mom, however everyday for the past year we have gone to the Tri County Nursing Home to visit our father. There hasn't been many days when we didn't see your mom in the hall waiting and visiting with others. Everytime we saw her, her face lit up and she possessed a beautiful smile. She had kindness within, we could tell. I looked forward to seeing her and felt that she was a woman who had a wonderful life filled with love....she always acted and looked peaceful....that is what she took with her...her nature of peacefulness and happiness. We wish all of you well and knowledge that your mom truly is at peace.

Fred,Linda,Janice: We will always remember her as the Post Office Lady. When we were little and rode with our grandmother, Mary Patton, on her mail route to Bakers Mills, Rita always looked so happy when we would get out of the car and visit with her. She always had a smile. We will keep you in our prayers and send our condolences.
