Dear Jean, I want to remember you as you were-Pretty Lady-When we visited your sister and smelled the flowers so to speak-how delightful that was-When we sat and talked about the ones that meant so much to us-How we laughed when John went to our mail box in his PJ's in the deep snow. You and Lisas knitting and crocheting all the time. When Dee carted us to town and the laughs we had.See Jean you helped me when I lost John after 50 years. Our love for our special men couldn't be broken..it has been tried in the past year but I am now able to cope with it because of you Jean. What a wonderful person you are and I am sure the gates to heaven are open to receive you. Love you and may God Bless you

Sonya & Violet and families, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. I will never forget the year I lived with all of you while attending Albany Business College, she was so kind, so loving and wonderful to me and made me part of your family. We had a lot of fun together, I will never forget the time she actually trusted me to cut her hair and give her a perm. We both were shocked I didn't ruin it, we laughed about. I will never forget her. You both were very lucky to have such a special Mom. My condolences to you and your family.

Mothers are special, and special mothers are the gift of a lifetime. We have many fond memories of time shared with Jean and know all five of her girls can take comfort in all of their wonderful memories.

We will always remember Aunt Jean with much fondness. I'm glad I got to spend quality time with her baking and knitting when I was up last November. Our hearts go out to Sonya, Violet & Dave, and your children. She will be dearly missed, especially her laugh when she & my Mom got going!

My thoughts and prayers are with Jean's family during this difficult time. Jean was a wonderful, sweet and talented woman. We loved her beautiful handmade creations. We loved having her with us at our weekly Over-The-Edge Quilters and Crocheters meetings. We loved her and she will missed. - Marina Skea
