Obituary of Gerald W. Smith

Brant Lake: Gerald W. “Jerry” Smith, 66, formerly of Brant Lake, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 07, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital following a long illness. Born April 21, 1946 in Brant Lake, he was the son of Violet (Moores) Fuller and the late Mack Smith. Jerry was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Horicon Central High in 1964. He went on to enlist in the US Air Force; serving his country for 4 years during the Vietnam War era. Jerry worked for many years as a handyman at numerous locations in Schroon Lake. He is survived by his two daughters, Gwen and Crystal; his mother, Violet Fuller and her husband, Archie of Andalusia, AL; his brother, Ron Smith and his wife, Floy of Sweeny, TX; his sisters: Joan Johnson and her husband, Bryce of Brant Lake and Donna Spitaleri and her husband, Mike of Fort Walton Beach, FL; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Jerry’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. Burial will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
