Norma, Mary, Billy, Chuck and Families:
Fred and I share in your sadness during this difficult time. My memories of "Mr." Rawson go back to the seventies, moving to the Adirondacks and living at Conway's Country Store. Everyday we saw a smiling face coming into the store who took us "flat landers" under his wing and made the entire family feel such part of the Wevertown Community. Carroll was the first man I met upon our new journey. I will never forget him. The gift of his warmth, humor and love has been passed to his family.
With deepest sympathy, Carol and Fred Monroe

Mrs. Rawson, Bill and Sue, Words can not express how shocked and saddened we are to hear this very tragic and so very unexpected news. Mr. Rawson has always been such a pillar in the community of North Creek and you should be very proud of him, his accomplishments and mostly for his love of his family and friends, which he showed so naturally and openly to all. My most sincere sympathy to the entire family. Sue and Bill, I know how very much you will miss your Dad and for that, I am very sad. May your memories of all your family trips to Vermont and just the everyday family things that you have shared with me be a source of happiness and strength through the days to come. With love to you all. ~Donna~

Not only was Carroll a gentleman in the truest sense but a gentle man with everyone. He never had an unkind remark to make about life and the people who lived it. I know you his family are going to miss him so very much and we people that knew him from his Braley and Noxon days and into retirement will miss him also. My deepest sympathy to Norma and to his children and grandchildren. Sincerely Olga
