Obituary of Betty Ann Belden

Bolton Landing / Queensbury: Betty Ann Belden, 58, of Sherman Avenue, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. Born February 16, 1954 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Florence (Bentley) Belden. She was a lifelong resident of Bolton Landing and attended the Bolton Central School. Betty relocated to the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in 1998 following years of declining health. She made many friends during her time there and was an avid bingo player. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters: Mabel Arlene Moffitt, and Daisy Alger; her brother, Carl Belden and her grandmother, Julia Morehouse. She is survived by her beloved son, Timothy Belden of Bolton Landing; her companion, Albert Robinson of Glens Falls; her brother, Richard Belden of Norwich; her brother and sister-in-laws, George Moffitt and Nancy Belden of Bolton Landing; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Betty’s family would like to thank the entire staff at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the outstanding, compassionate care she received during her final years. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be conducted 11 am, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
